You write it, it’s copyrighted. That’s Canadian and American law. In accord with the Berne Copyright Convention, mandatory notice of copyright is not required. In fact, you look like you don’t know the law if you put in the ©. However, if you have a hot story on Sarah Pallin, a blockbuster screenplay, or a fantastic 100% successful diet, then Google American or Canadian copyright.
