Dialogue is the Super Hero of Writing.
It’s a super hero because it cuts through description, analysis and telling and takes you and the reader to the point of conflict. (Good dialogue, I mean)
Readers like dialogue. Test it yourself. Open the book you’re reading now. A page with blocks of text is not friendly, even intimidating. But with dialogue, there’s plenty of white space. It looks like an easy page to read.
